Woodlands party

I just love the woods, it is quiet, peaceful and it energizes my soul. So I always loved the idea of a Woodlands themed birthday party. But with two boys, the chances of that just passed due to super heroes and sports. So I decided that despite the fact that they never would want a woodlands party, I will throw one for me. Silly right? But who cares, and the boys ended up loving it. There is cake and and all things nice. What kid wouldn’t love it?

The fun part about the Woodlands theme, is that it can just as well work for boys as it does for girls, or even for a baby-shower. I love the fact that you can incorporate real nature elements to add to the authenticity of the theme.

Salty carrots – kids style

I am like a kid in the sense that I honestly don’t believe that vegetables should be at a kids party. I know that there is a lot of you who would differ from me, but out of all the meals you haveĀ in a year, a party shouldn’t abide by the same rules. But busy with the Woodlands party planning, my cute little rabbit, will need a salty carrot or two.

So I’ve decided to look for another option to serve the “carrots”.

How to bake easy moss cupcakes

So I am planning a Woodlands party and needed an idea for the cupcakes that represented something earthy. It needed to compliment both the decor and the theme. The idea of moss cupcakes popped up a couple of times during my search for ideas. I read a couple of articles and then decided to use the principles and make my own thing.
